In American mythology,
the south wind often appears
as a powerful
and transformative force,
associated with warmth, storms,
and a touch of the unpredictable,
sometimes even influencing
human behavior.
Singularity
Benjamin Franklin was an
American polymath:
a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman,
diplomat, printer, publisher
and philosopher.
He attended Boston Latin School
but did not graduate;
he continued his education
through voracious reading.
At age 17,
Franklin ran away to Philadelphia,
seeking a new start in a new city.
In 1732, Franklin began to publish
the Poor Richard's Almanack,
with content both original and borrowed
on which much of his popular reputation
was gained.

Mark Twain,
was an American writer,
humorist, and essayist.
Twain's works have been subjected
to censorship efforts.

who had been instilled
with that American 'library spirit'
which honored intellectual freedom."

Do the right thing.
It will gratify some people
and astonish the rest.
When in doubt
tell the truth.
If you tell the truth,
you don't have to
remember anything.
It's no wonder that truth
is stranger than fiction.
Fiction has to make sense.
It is better to keep your mouth closed
and let people think you are a fool
than to open it
and remove all doubt.
If you don't mind,
it doesn't matter.
I was gratified
to be able to answer promptly,

Don't go around saying

Ayn Rand was a Russian-born
American writer and philosopher.
Rand advocated reason
and rejected faith and religion.
She supported rational and ethical egoism
as opposed to altruism and hedonism.
Atlas Shrugged is considered
Rand's magnum opus.
She described the novel's theme as
"the role of the mind in man's existence,
and the morality of rational self-interest".
It advocates the core tenets
of Rand's philosophy of Objectivism
and expresses her concept
of human achievement.
Rand described her approach to literature
as "romantic realism."
She wanted her fiction
to present the world
"...as it could be
and should be,
rather than
as it was."

The Truth is not for all men,
but only for those who seek it.
Live and act within the limit
of your knowledge
and keep expanding it
to the limit of your life.
Throughout the centuries
there were men
who took first steps,
down new roads,
armed with nothing
but their own vision.
A creative man is motivated
by the desire to achieve,
not by the desire to beat others.
The question isn't
who is going to let you.
It's who is going to stop you.
Achievement of your happiness
is the only moral purpose
of your life.
Every form of happiness is private
No one’s happiness but your own
is in your power to achieve
It is the greatest of existence:
not to trust,
but to know.
To achieve,
you need thought.
You have to know
what you are doing
and that's real power.
You have
the power to choose,
but no power to escape
the necessity of choice.
Reason is not automatic.
Contradictions do not exist.
Whenever you think
