Mother Chaos watched

as her son faced the Tempest alone

She watched with steel resolve

She stood from her place of judgement,

her passion turned cold

The curse of the Title

made him an outcast

Crowned with disbelief in all he said

He struggled at first with the thorns,

but accepted the disbelief

and no longer felt the pain

His belief in Self only grew

The Child of Fate held onto one thing

that could not be forced.

He would follow all the rules

and do what was asked.

But he refused to pray.

His only free will that remained.

The orphan believed in one thing.

"I believe in only myself."

As his belief in himself grew,

The man refused to feel the pain

of the Summer Baths.

The suffering had been stilled.

who gave him shelter

thanked the Ancient for allowing his ask

to not strike him as a guest under the First Tree

for shelter under the shade of the First Tree,
