13 Genesis 13

13 But the men of Sodom

were wicked and sinners

before the Lord exceedingly 13

author's note

Eternal Sky series needs fair warning,

patterns weaved will seem very familiar

Beliefs are remixed..um..don't believe,

good luck & good speed

There exists a place called Tartarus

referenced in antiquity

as the Underworld,

with many occupants.

Watchers have the root meaning

"to be awake,"

dispatched to watch over

the first Garden.

In only One story,

Watchers were,

firstborns of Third Creations,

who waited "to be awakened"

to their Name.

In order they returned

to the land of Fire & Sand,

occupied by creations

from the dust of the ground.

The First Watcher,

after defeat from his brother,

awakened to his Alpha Name

which caused a prime condition

to all children.

Innocence was lost,

inheriting the loss

of original righteousness,

a distortion of their likeness

to the Trinity Creators.

The Last Watcher,

second born unclaimed son,

returned and awakened

to an Omega Name

when he prayed for the first time.

He had found his courage

to break his silence.

His Name was heard

from the Heavens,

and the Eternal Mother

gave him the Message

for his brethren.

Given the name weakborn,

his first environment was the Wilderness,

where every creature roamed wild

to keep the natural balance

The weak did not survive

All creatures

sensed the orphan's weakness

but could not find him

because of his silence

The Garden was created

to shelter the weak,

to give them a second chance

The weak are protected

by a Watcher

There was a creature

who spoke to the orphan

The One

who protected the First Tree

the Ancient said amused,

"I will give you shelter this once"

"Three days,

no more,

no less"

"If you survive after,

 you must face my Test,

to prove if you were worthy

of my first garden"

The weakborn remained silent

and watched with curiosity

Firstborn sons and daughter

of the Third Creations were delivered

Twin sons were given to the First Tribe

The Dragon King only wanted the strongest

He followed the ancient ways

"Take the weakborn,

leave him in the Wilderness"

It was the strongest

who spoke on behalf

for the weakborn

"If he survives for 3 days,

will you allow the child to be saved?"

The Dragon of Blue Winter was startled

This was a break in pattern

She never questioned his decisions

His eyes softened

This must be important to her,

he thought

The king said,

"No less than 3 days"

"Let Fate decide on this child"

The weakborn was blessed

a second name

All the Angel relaxed

The urge to protect was new

But they could not help the child

since he was not claimed

The child was not of blood

by the unclaim

The Angel who spoke felt relief

There was still a chance

She did her best

Without saying a word,

she looked to the Angels Grey,

not bound by the unclaim

and only swore to serve

She hoped they would do their best

All the Angels

became mothers that day

This was the first son

they had ever seen

Eternal White Sky

The Angels Grey knew their purpose

They claimed the Child of Fate as their own

For three nights they cared for the child

Each of the twelve took turns

protecting against the Wilderness

that felt their infant's weakness

After the third day,

the child survived

The king accepted the trial

As he thought what to do,

of which he would not claim

a roll of the dice was made

With courage,

the humblest Angel Grey

took a step forward

"I know my Queen

 asked for a son"

"Perhaps this is a sign?"

The king nodded in agreement

"The child survived,

this must be the reason why"

"Take him to your Red Queen

and return at once"

"Tell your Queen there is no ask"

"It is in thanks for keeping your oath"

"You have shown respect,

by never breaking your word"

The Angel bowed deeply

and took the child away

Before she departed,

each hand of all the Angels

held the child

They whispered their Name in his ear

Both tribe of Angels

blessed the child,

of Grey humility

and Blue strength

The Messenger Angel ran with haste

When she finally reached Mother Chaos,

the Child of Fate was claimed firstborn

within the Omega Tribe

A tribe of two was created,

of mother and son

The Last Watcher was forged

The die was cast

The board was set

Ma'at represents the ethical

and moral principle that all citizens

were expected to follow

throughout their daily lives.

They were expected to act with honor,

 a concept of truth,

balance,

&

harmony.

In the Egyptian underworld,

the hearts of the dead were said

to be weighed against

a single "Feather of Ma'at."

The heart was seen

as part of the soul.

If the heart was found to be lighter

or equal in weight to the feather,

the deceased had led a virtuous life

and would be rewarded with Eternity.

A heart which was unworthy

was devoured

and its owner condemned to remain

in the Underworld.

Ma'at ideological opposite

was Isfet.

She is said to appear in human form

when a soul has been judged

to have the heaviest heart.

Third Creations

would need to be saved

A part of salvation was placed

inside every third creation

Only Her Name transformed

She kept her original form

Truth Eternal

The soul within new creations,

is a universe of truth,

of the forgotten age unfulfilled

Their souls were more ancient

than the universe they dwelled

The Children became favored

with both free will and a soul

Choices made with their gift

decided their fate

to make whole

 Darkness filled the sky

A promise unfulfilled

for some First and Second Creations

The spark that caused

the heavenly battle

was pride

A struggle with no peace

All the Tribes,

except the Blue and Grey,

split into factions

over the blessed creations

With Destiny weakened,

united under a banner of revenge,

some Angel daughters

and Dragon sons

broke their Name

Never to return to the Light

The Great War of the Heavens began

There was One that lead the Rebellion

The last to break Her Name

The Red Angel promised One thing

"I will make the Third Creations pay

for such an honor not given to Me"

A woman clothed with the sun,

and the moon under her feet,

and upon her head

a crown of twelve stars

And she being with child cried,

travailing in birth,

and pained to be delivered

and behold a great red dragon

stood before the woman

which was ready to be delivered,

for to devour her child

as soon as it was born

And she brought forth a man child

And the woman fled

into the Wilderness

And there was war in heaven

Angels fought against the dragon;

and the dragon fought and his angels

And prevailed not;

neither was their place found

any more in heaven

And the great dragon was cast out,

that old serpent,

which deceiveth the whole world:

he was cast out into the earth,

and his angels were cast out with him

And when the dragon saw

that he was cast unto the earth,

he persecuted the woman

which brought forth the man child

And to the woman were given

two wings of a great eagle,

that she might fly into the Wilderness,

into her place

And the dragon was wroth

with the woman,

 and went to make war

with the remnant of her seed,

which keep the commandments

Eternal White Sky

The moment the struggle ended

the unfulfilled Last Age began

The Forgotten claimed

what was left unfulfilled

The Lost awakened

to their empty role

to make the Last Age fulfilled

From the One moment

where past and future were same,

now the moment becomes present

The war rages on,

the struggle never ended

One event did not follow

struggles of past

 The great rebellion occurred,

with factions split

One dragon emerged the strongest

He kept his Name hidden

except above Holy Book

and sold in his Name

Seen by all this prideful act,

the arrogance was too Great

Those that followed the One dragon

were now followers of the Holy Book

to his unhidden Holy Name

 As the red prophet

gained more from his Name

His words bound his followers

The curse proceeded after rewards

Followers bear the mark,

tainted red on their soul,

which they carried with pride

Seen by all this prideful act,

the shame was too Great

Eternal Mother's Word is Law

"They are unworthy of salvation"

Their prideful soul was judged

A cursed life

of wandering and toil,

bound to his Name

to the end of their days

The red mark

sealed their destiny

for afterwards

Final Judgement was placed

Only two tribes remained

without judgement

Alpha and Omega

were given fair warning

"the Great Flood of Red Fire approaches"

Jegudiel means "God is One"

The classic Eastern Orthodox depiction

usually shows him standing upright,

holding a crown in his right hand,

and a staff in his left hand.

Jegudiel is a selfless individual

who will go out of his way

to help those in need.

He is seen as a big brother

to those who know him

even if he is younger than them.

Jegudiel has a powerful force of will.

The scars he bears

shows his determination in protecting

and fighting for what he believes in

or for the people he is meant

and sworn to protect.

Jegudiel's energy corresponds

to the purple angel light ray.

The king asked again,

"But there must be a price?"

The devout angel shook her head,

"I swear to serve"

"I give you my Word on my Name"

"I will protect your son"

The Grey angel gave an Oath

to protect any son,

claim or unclaimed

Eternal Blue Sky

She saved the unclaimed son

by taking him away from the Ancient

before he was about to be attacked

The child did not know

he was in danger

as she fled with haste

the Black Serpent kept His Word,

three days had passed.

no more, no less

the Nothing

spoke to the

infant dragon blue

"Go in Peace,

we will meet again"

"You will find your way

back into the Wilderness"

"You must face the Test"

the Nothing said amused,

as He gained speed

upon the Messenger Angel

A covenant was made

which saved the Angel from doom

With a warm laugh,

the weakborn thanked the Ancient

for allowing his ask

to not strike him as a guest

under the First Tree

"I accept your Test

for the debt owed"

"You sheltered me

under the shade of the Tree,

which will always be my home"

"I will return

and prove my worth"

"On my Names,

I give my Oath"

"I will pass your Test"

the Black Serpent stopped chase

and gave him His Name

"good luck"

Isfet was to be overcome by good,

which would replace disunity with unity

and disorder with order.

If Isfet were to rise,

humanity would decay

and return to a state of the uncivilized

Isfet is thought to be the product

of an individual's free will

rather than a predetermined

state of chaos.

The counter to Isfet was Ma'at.

Ma'at was said to bring order

whereas Isfet brought chaos.

This created the concept of duality,

creating two opposing forces

that existed simultaneously.

The Egyptians believed that the world

could not be balanced

without this duality;

which is why they believed in both

Isfet and Ma'at.

The caduceus is the staff carried

by Hermes, the Messenger.

Hermes saw two serpents

entwined in mortal combat.

Separating them with his staff

he brought about peace between them,

and as a result the staff with two serpents

came to be seen as a sign of peace.

It is said that the staff

would wake the sleeping

and send the awake to sleep.

Some suggested

that the prototype of Hermes was an

"Oriental deity of Babylonian extraction"

represented in his earliest form

as a snake god.

From this perspective,

the caduceus was originally

representative of Hermes himself,

in his early form as

the Underworld god Ningishzida,

"messenger" of the "Earth Mother."

The Sumerian name means

"lord of the good tree."

And then it happened

A Break in the Pattern

He got back up,

walked outside with sadness,

looked up at the Eternal Blue Sky,

and called a Name which held his Faith

He could no longer bear the pain

He endured as much as he could

"I call your Name"

"I have kept my Name"

"I must break it for this ask"

"I believe in the goodness of people

by seeing them as they are"

"I believe in others

with no ask in return"

"But I was harmed"

"My Name was taken,

a distortion of who I am"

"I need my Name as my own"

"I will never ask for anything,

but this one ask"

"I pray to you,

as a humble son"

"I need your help"

"Make them believe

my Name is my own"

"To be the best I can be,

is all that I am"

"I ask for your help,

let them know my Name,

not to be remembered,

but to know

I come in peace"

"I will dance in the Pyrrhic Circle

with only staff and shield"

"I will not retreat,

I refuse to surrender"

"I will move forward

and bring forth my resolve"

"I have overcome my fear"

"I ride back into the Wilderness,

and face the Test alone."

"I return home

to prove my worth"

"I will fulfill my Oath"

"I ask you watch over me

and keep me safe"

Orpheus was one of the handful

of Greek heroes to visit

the underworld and return.

The most famous story

is that of his wife Eurydice

When Orpheus traveled

to the underworld,

his music softened the hearts

of Hades and Persephone,

who agreed to allow Eurydice

to return with him to the Garden

on one condition

He should walk in front of her

and not look back

until they both had reached

the upper world

Eurydice had not yet crossed

into the Garden,

and of her own free will,

she refused to cross

She vanished

for the second time,

this time forever

She could not save herself

It was the shadow of her husband

that allowed her to go

as far as she could

She could not go into the Light,

for she was a creature of the Dark,

as were all that followed her,

within the shadow of her Name,

The red mark

sealed their destiny
