13 Revelation 13

13 And he doeth great wonders,

so that he maketh

fire come down

from heaven on the earth

in the sight of men 13

author's note

To think you know,

before you understand,

is a certainty that holds pride.

Doubt allows uncertainty,

which bears humility.

Accept that you may never know.

Some things

can never be understood,

without the experience.

The Universe is an echo

of our Inverse

Find harmony within

outwardevents

Accept what happens

Try your best,

face the consequence

Know your limits

do not go beyond

your control

Move outside your surroundings

or you become your environment

Anything outside yourself

is your environment

Master yourself

or remain a slave

to outside influences

22

27 In the Allegory,

Plato describes people

28 who have spent

their entire lives chained

29 in front of an inner wall

with a view of the empty outer wall.

26 Only the shadows and sounds

are the prisoners' reality.

26 The shadows represent

25 distorted & blurred copies of the real,

24 of words & images,

23 perceived through senses.

22 A philosopher aims to understand

21 with the light of reason,

which comes from within.

20 Reason is a fire created

from our own mind.

19 Reason cannot be memorized.

18 The shadows

are reality for the prisoners

17 because they cannot

see beyond their senses.

16 If a freed prisoner had the courage

15 to stay outside the cave

adjust his vision,

14 endure the agony

of shedding his beliefs,

13 he would eventually

see the true forms of things

12 One can then see

beyond outward appearance,

11 outward explanations,

and decipher from one's own reason.

9 The freed prisoner,

would be blind again

10 if One re-entered the cave,

it would not be the same.

8 One would have to

make the choice.

7 Remain or move on,

decide which one.

6 One must choose to doubt,

it can never be taught.

5 Socrates concludes

that the prisoners,

4 if they were able,

would therefore reach out

3 and kill anyone who attempted

to drag them out of the cave.

2 Most cannot endure the pain

to see reality.

1 The prisoners would prefer

never to know.

The Inverse & Universe

is an eternal duality,

constantly changing

from the swing of the Metronome.

The Endless motion

of inward and outward,

with your Self sifting,

like grains of sand,

moves from free will.

Within the transition,

is where Truth

can be found.

Without choices made,

the Self will stagnate

and become the environment

Find your courage

and all other virtues

will follow outside the cave

of your own making

The Cave is fear

the Way

that can be spoken of

is not the Eternal Way

the Name

that can be named

is not the Eternal Name

Nameless

is the origin

The Named

is the outward

of all things

Thus,

 the Void

enables One

to observe the true essence

the Being

enables One

to see the outward

manifestations

the Duality

come paired

from the origin

But when the essence

is manifested

It

has a different name

This same origin

is called

the Eternal

As

Nameless

the mystery

as

It can be

It is

the Endless Change

to the essence

of all life

the Eternal Way

has no path

but only

the Endless Flow

paired

from the origin

Three things

cannot be long hidden

the Sun,

the Moon,

&

the Truth

I will not move from this spot

until I have attained

the supreme and final wisdom

Objectivism is a philosophy

by Russian-American writer

Ayn Rand.

Rand argued

that the primary emphasis

of man's free will is choice.

"To think

or not to think"

"Thinking is not

an automatic function."

"In any hour

and issue of his life,

man is free to think

or to evade that effort."

"Thinking requires a state

of full, focused awareness."

"Man can focus his mind

to a purpose towards

directed awareness of reality,

or he can unfocus

and let himself drift

in a semiconscious daze."

"Merely reacting

to any chance stimulus

of the immediate moment,

at the mercy

of any outside influence,

and of any random connections

it might happen to make."

"Possessing free will,

human beings must choose

their own value."

"One does not

automatically have

one's own life

as his ultimate value."

Live and act within the limit

of your knowledge

and keep expanding it

to the limit of your life.

The question isn't

who is going to let you.

It's who is going to stop you.

It is the greatest of existence:

not to trust,

but to know.

Contradictions do not exist.

Whenever you think

you are facing a contradiction,

check your premises.

You will find

that one of them is wrong.

Wish to know

the meaning of things.

You are the meaning.

You are

You think

You will

If you don't know,

the thing to do

is not to get scared,

but to learn.

Don’t ever get angry

at a man for stating the truth.

Every living thing must grow.

It can't stand still.

It must grow or perish.

There is no worse thought

except one,

the refusal to think

The spirit of man,

his sense of Truth within,

cannot be killed

if he holds with resolve,

in his belief in himself

The world you desire

can be won.

It exists...

it is real...

it is possible...

it’s yours.

Do not let the hero

in your soul perish

in lonely frustration

for the life you deserved

and have never been able to reach.

Know what you want in life

and go after it.

In the Egyptian underworld,

the hearts of the dead were said

to be weighed against

a single "Feather of Ma'at."

The heart was seen

as part of the soul.

If the heart was found to be lighter

or equal in weight to the feather,

the deceased had led a virtuous life

and would be rewarded with Eternity.

A heart which was unworthy

was devoured & condemned

to remain in the Underworld.

Ma'at ideological opposite was Isfet,

meaning injustice, chaos, violence

or to do evil.

The universe is one of duality

Symmetry is the balance

to the universe

in which we exist in

The closer you look at nature,

the more you see this to be so

There is a duality to struggles,

of the challenges we face

Everything we do matters,

not beccause it is important

but becuase it effects

both yourself and others around

If you hide from doing

you can not do without

Face the tests in life

It is pride within yourself

which gives strength

To avoid challenges

is evasion of opportunities

Forge your courage

Those without courage

will fade within their environment

Those with courage,

emerge true

Those who harm others

are harming themselves

What you do

becomes you

To those who have been harmed

let not your mind go towards anger

Be unlike those who harm,

by never harming them in return

Never forget

school never ends

everyday is a test

Do your best

survive the test

Making decisions strengthens judgement,

avoiding choices weakens courage

You will know if you passed the test,

when peace comes from within

To keep faith among those without,

strengthens from resistance

Time in the wilderness

teaches you to survive without

Either you pass the test

or you become the environment

The faithless' purpose is to gain the most,

by doing the least, without getting caught

They serve a purpose

They are the Test

Keep your faith alive

or that faith dies

Always ahead must you strive

What is created outward,

becomes a creation within

What is created inward,

becomes a creation outward

Shifting through

like a panning dish,

until your Truth is created

Contradiction of your actions and words

dilutes your Truth

It can be severed,

forever lost

Time erodes one's purpose

into the emptiness

if one does not hold to their Truth

If one disregards Truth

and mimics sincerity,

then hollowness is their Truth

Those that mimic are imitations,

echoes of echoes,

which eventually fade

into whatever environment

they are imitating
